The match, in five steps
In Renó, preparing a match takes five numbered steps: squad, kit, formation, corners and blocks. At the end, a link for the squad.
How it worked before
The call-up happened on WhatsApp, set plays on a loose sheet of paper, the fixture was copied by hand and the weather got checked five minutes before leaving. Everything existed, but in five different places.
A Thursday night
We designed for a specific moment: a coach who logs in on Thursday night, short on time, to get Saturday sorted. They don't need a screen with everything; they need to know what's missing.
That's why preparation is a guided flow that's always the same. Numbering the steps lets them know where they left off, so nothing gets forgotten. It was a product decision, not a design one.
One link, no login
At the end of the fifth step, a link is generated to share: call-up, venue, time and weather. The squad opens it on their phones, with no account and nothing to install.
Useful from day one
The piece that delivers the most value is invisible: our own scraper pulls the tournament's official fixtures, standings and top scorers. That's why a coach can use Renó the same day they sign up, without entering anything by hand.
What we took away
Renó is our own product: the idea, the brand, the design and the code came out of the studio. Today it's in use, with plans for coaches and clubs, and it keeps growing every week.
